Globalstar Expands Terrestrial Services in Spain with Support from Telecom CLM and Three European Ground Stations

Globalstar ($NYSEAM:GSAT), the world’s leading provider of mobile satellite services, announced on Monday that the Spanish government had granted them authorization to expand their services to offer supplementary terrestrial services. This includes services like LTE and 5G compliant services through the Band 53/n53 spectrum using their global mobile satellite spectrum. This new expansion is receiving support from Telecom CLM, which has agreed to host Globalstar’s ground station at their international teleport in Alcazar de San Juan. This new addition to their existing three other European ground stations makes Globalstar the only mobile satellite services provider with a network of ground stations in Europe.
